1. What Zortorin Dry Syrup is and what it is used for

Zortorin contains cefditoren pivoxil, which is an antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin group. Antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by bacteria.

Zortorin is used in children aged 2 months to 12 years to treat mild to moderate bacterial infections, including:

  • Infections of the lungs (such as pneumonia)
  • Infections of the throat and tonsils
  • Infections of the sinuses
  • Worsening of long-term bronchitis
  • Certain skin and soft tissue infections

Zortorin Dry Syrup works by killing bacteria and helps your child recover from infection.

Do not give Zortorin to your child if:
