1. What is Zorblok-5/10/20 tablet and what is it used for

Zorblok-5/10/20 tablets contain Cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

It is used for:

Treatment of mild to moderate hypertension
Management of hypertension for protection of organs such as heart and kidneys
It is useful in:
- Elderly patients
- Patients with diabetes
- Patients with albuminuria
- Patients with chronic kidney disease

2. What you need to know before you take Zorblok-5/10/20 tablet

Do not take this medicine if you:

Have cardiogenic shock
Have a recent history of unstable angina or heart attack (MI)
Have severe aortic stenosis
Are allergic to cilnidipine or any of the ingredients
Have heart failure
Have low blood pressure (hypotension)

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you have:

Low blood pressure
Poor heart function or heart failure
Do not stop the medicine suddenly, as it may worsen chest pain (angina)
Inform your doctor if you experience chest pain after taking the medicine

Liver impairment: Dose should be started at a lower level and used cautiously

3. How to take Zorblok-5/10/20 tablet?

Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor

Recommended dose in adults:

Start with 5 mg or 10 mg once daily
May be increased up to 20 mg once daily if required

Important instructions:

Swallow the tablet whole with water
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet
Take it at the same time every day
