1. What is VonlineTM-10/20 tablet and what it is used for

VonlineTM-10/20 tablet contains vonoprazan, which reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach.

It is used for:

  • Treatment of reflux esophagitis (acid reflux disease)
  • Treatment of gastric (stomach) and duodenal (intestinal) ulcers
  • Prevention of recurrence of ulcers during use of aspirin or NSAIDs
  • Treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection in combination with antibiotics

2. What you need to know before you take VonlineTM-10/20 tablet

Do not take this medicine if:

  • You are allergic to vonoprazan or any of the ingredients.
  • You are taking medicines containing rilpivirine.

Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if:

  • Your symptoms do not improve or come back after treatment.
  • You develop kidney problems, persistent diarrhoea, or severe skin reactions.
  • You are at risk of bone fractures, especially with long-term use.
  • You have symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency (such as fatigue or weakness).
  • You have low magnesium levels or symptoms like muscle spasms or irregular heartbeat.
  • You are expected to take this medicine for a long time.

Other medicines and Vonline™-10/20
Tell your doctor if you are taking:

  • Medicines containing rilpivirine (must not be taken together)
  • Atazanavir or nelfinavir
  • Medicines affected by stomach acid (e.g., iron, antifungals)

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

  • Do not take this medicine during pregnancy unless advised by your doctor.
  • Do not breastfeed while taking this medicine.

3. How to take VonlineTM-10/20 tablet?

Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Recommended doses:

  • Treatment of Reflux Esophagitis (RE): 20 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks
  • Maintenance of Healed Reflux Esophagitis: 10 mg once daily for up to 6 months
  • Gastric Ulcer (GU): 20 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks
  • Duodenal Ulcer (DU): 20 mg once daily for up to 6 weeks
  • Prevention of Recurrence of Gastric or Duodenal Ulcer (during low-dose aspirin or NSAID use): 10 mg once daily for up to 6 months
  • Adjunct to Helicobacter pylori Eradication: Vonoprazan 20 mg + amoxicillin 1000 mg + clarithromycin 500 mg, each taken twice daily (morning and evening, 12 hours apart) for 14 days. If initial treatment fails: Vonoprazan 20 mg + amoxicillin 750 mg + metronidazole 250 mg, each taken twice daily for 7 days

If you miss a dose

  • For treatment of reflux esophagitis: take within 12 hours
  • For H. pylori treatment: take within 4 hours
  • If more time has passed, skip the missed dose
  • Do not take a double dose

4. Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Common side effects

  • Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, bloating, constipation, or indigestion
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache or dizziness
  • Fatigue or fever
  • Upper respiratory or urinary tract infections
  • Increased liver enzymes

Less common side effects

  • Anemia or changes in blood cells
  • Fast heartbeat
  • Vertigo
  • Decreased appetite
  • Bone fractures (with long-term use)
  • Sleep disturbances, anxiety, or depression
  • Kidney problems (e.g., tubulointerstitial nephritis)
  • Skin reactions (rash, itching, dry skin)
  • Allergic reactions
  • Vaginal infection or discharge
  • Cough or throat discomfort

Seek medical attention immediately if you have:

  • Signs of allergic reaction (swelling, difficulty breathing)
  • Severe skin reactions
  • Symptoms of kidney problems (changes in urination)

5. How to store VonlineTM-10/20 tablets?

  • Store below 30°C.
  • Keep the medicine out of reach of children
